Profession for Prophecies..
I've made a new warrior because my old one is ugly..
Which second profession should I choose this time for generally playing through Prophecies? Not Monk
Thanks all in advance for input

Well, Monk is out the window. That leaves the rest.
Roll a D4. Get one that is random. Each has it's benefits.
Necro will offer you some fun abilities. Specifically, life stealing and debuff access. You can do all kinds of nasty things with a W/N. Life Siphon Warriors are fun, for PvE. Pumping your own life through magic is another nice thing. Etc. You get to do it all.
Ele will offer you big armor buffs. It will offer you secondary damage types that are used as finishers. Mainly though, Ele will give you huge armor and/or speed/reduction. Very useful.
Ranger will offer you a huge variety of things. Want to be a mad house of speed? Tiger's Fury. Want to have a Pet to fight along side you? Go for it. You don't even have to put points in it. Want to have a powerful heal, without monk or Necro? Troll! Lots of stances here, that help you reduce damage through negation. Lots of great things you can do here. Apply poison to your attacks, evade your foe, run, play with a pet, pump your health, etc.
Mesmer will give you a lot of powerful abilities. It's hard to find more useful stances than what a Mesmer can do for you. You also get very nasty counters here, that aren't expected. Mainly though, the defensive and offensive boons you get as a Mesmer secondary are huge. Definitely worth exploring.
--- So what do you want to do with your secondary? Do you need one?
I would tell you to go Ele or Mesmer. They're just fun, and oh so useful.
Cheers!

I say Necro.
Ask yourself, what is the most harmful thing that a Warrior suffers and what can a warrior not do?
Warriors become very ineffective against blindness. Who can cure blindness if not a monk? Necros and Rangers. You already have stances, running skills, and you are your own tank.
Mesmers have some things that are good, like removing hexes, spreading conditions, stances that protect you against the elements. But they have poor healing powers.
Necromancers have several good healing powers, life siphon, parasitic bond, vampiric touch, vampiric gaze, incidous parasite, etc.
You can weaken foes, lower their armor's defense against you, make them heal you everytime they attack you, slow their attacks, use Mark of Pain to inflict damage to foes adjacent to target, etc.
Just a few of the wonderful things that a Necro brings.
